Why Advantage Lifts Stand Out In The Market

Quality, Safety & Strength

A True Industry Leading Warranty

All residential Advantage Lifts come with a 5-Year Warranty* on structure, cylinder, power unit, and functional components. The extra 3+ years compared to our competitors could save you hundreds of dollars and provides you with many more years’ worth of service and peace of mind.

Some lift companies claim to have an industry leading warranty, but they don’t even come close to our warranty. We are proud to be the pioneer of the industry’s best warranty.

Why buy from a company that only provides a 30-day warranty when you can get a 5-year warranty from Advantage Lifts?

5" x 5" Enclosed Posts With 6" x 6" Sliders*

The 5” x 5” posts with 6” x 6” sliders are the largest and sturdiest in the industry. The enclosed 5” posts with laser cut locks provide a solid position for your locks to rest on when working on or storing vehicles. The 6” sliders enhance the stability by encapsulating the post to greatly reduce movement of the lift, which is a common complaint about c-channel lifts. This design style is so stable, you do not need to anchor the posts to the floor. While c-channel manufacturers may make the claim that their lift does not need to be anchored, in our 30-years of experience, this is not what we recommend

12" x 12"  Solid Steel Baseplate

When you look at the baseplate of an Advantage Lifts 4-post design, you will notice two distinct features; the thickness of the plate, and the location of the post welded on the plate. The baseplate is 5/8” thick, ¼” thicker than industry average.  The thicker baseplate provides the lift with a solid foundation to support the other great features. Having a 5/8” thick plate also prevents warping of the baseplate when welding the posts. By having the post toward the center of the baseplate, (rather than one on the outer edge), it allows for better weight distribution over our already larger baseplate, increasing the stability. While there is an option to anchor the lift, it is recommended that you let the lift remain free standing. Having a free-standing lift provides you with the option to move the lift around inside your garage, or even outside of your garage if conditions allow.

Primary and Secondary Locking Systems

Advantage Lifts have a ¾” primary safety lock and a secondary slack cable lock on all 4-posts. When raising the lift, you will be able to hear the synchronized locks engaging in each laser cut lock position. If a cable were to fail, for any reason, the secondary lock would engage to prevent the lift from falling. Our double lock design, paired with a single point manual release, provides each Advantage Lifts owner with a safer lifting experience.

Reinforced Steel Crossbar*

On all Advantage 4-post lifts, the exterior slider and the 2” x 4” crossbar are welded together to create one solid piece for added stability. Advantage Lifts is the first lift of this design with additional reinforcement welded to the crossbar. CAD testing results show that the Advantage crossbar can support more than 3 times the 9,000 lb. rated capacity.

Industrial Grade Cables and Pulleys*

Cables and pulleys are one of the most important stability features on all Advantage 4-post lifts. Using industrial grade ½” cables coupled with 5” pulleys, and 1 3/16" axles provides less stress on your operating components, increasing their life span. To also increase longevity each DX series lift comes with US grease zerks for the bushings. Advantage 4-post lifts are the first lift of this design to offer 1/2" cables and 5" pulleys on its entire lineup, providing you with the utmost strength. No need to worry if you are putting too much strain on the lift, providing you are within the weight capacity of you lift model.

Dual Cable Keepers*

Advantage Lifts is the first lift with the exterior slider design to have cable keepers on all the pulleys, not just underneath the runway. They are positioned to not interfere with the cables or the operation of the lift. Their primary function is exactly what you would expect; to keep the cables in place and prevent them from jumping off the pulleys. Another feature to keep you safe.

Enhanced Underside Construction*

Three new features comprise our enhanced design underneath the power side runway. 1) The cable block rollers have been replaced with durable nylon pads that will not wear as fast as the rollers and are less intrusive, while serving the same purpose. 2) For added convenience, you can adjust the cables underneath from the cable block. 3) The welding of the ramp construction has been enhanced to provide more strength.

When you add all these things together......

You end up with THE BEST lift you can buy on the market.
